Machined from brass bar stock, this regulator body has minimal internal volume - there are no large cavities and pockets associated with forged-body regulators. These models feature encapsulated filter assemblies to protect the valve seat from contamination, extending regulator service life while also reducing velocity of gas when opening high-pressure cylinder valves. An automatic reseating relief valve protects regulator components from over pressurization.
