- Handle moderate material removal, deburring and initial blending on welds and mismatched surfaces with the Bear-Tex Rapid Prep AO coarse grit non-woven file belt. An open coat and proprietary Clean Bond resin technology deliver a smear-free finish on many surfaces including high nickel content alloys while minimizing loading on your soft metal surfaces like aluminum. Nylon fiber bonded to the Y-weight polyester backing produce a strong, durable result with low stretching. The premium aluminum oxide abrasive grain coating delivers a cut rate up to 20 percent higher than other surface conditioning belts.
