PASTEWELD® leaded solder is a formulated mixture of 50% tin 50% lead, water soluble zinc chloride flux for torch, iron or furnace soldering. It provides a convenient one-step method of solder application. When heated the binder burns away and the flux becomes active. When the soldering temperature is reached the metal solder powder melts and completes the solder connection. PASTEWELD® is not for potable water systems. It is not recommended for processes that involve products for human consumption. It is generally unsuitable for electrical or electronic applications.

Designed for torch, iron or furnace soldering

Joins practically all metals except the white metals with excellent control of alloy deposit
Excellent where pre-placement of solder is required for furnace and/or automatic soldering applications
Not recommended for electrical or electronic applications

Flux residue should be removed after soldering
