- Harris® 6290-VVCP Size 0.5 is a two-piece, propylene, chrome-plated machine cutting tip. It cuts up to 1 1/4 in. thick plate at a cutting speed of 14 in. per minute (I.P.M.) and requires 100 PSIG of cutting oxygen, 8 - 25 PSIG low-high oxygen preheat and 4 oz. - 2 PSIG of preheat fuel. This tip has a 170 SCFH cutting oxygen flow rate, 32 SCFH low preheat oxygen flow rate or 13 SCFH propylene flow rate for cutting metals. The approximate kerf is .08 in. Best when used with Harris machine cutting torch model 98-6F.

Caution
- Use next size larger tip with same PSIG for contour or intricate cutting
- For thin plate cutting, use a highly carburizing preheat flame
- Cutting oxygen pressures should be measured at torch entry
- When using two hose machine torches, set oxygen pressure at cutting oxygen PSIG listed
